I am a first-generation Senegalese American raised in Weehawken, New Jersey. Both personal experiences and a deep fascination with biomechanics and injury prevention shaped his path to medicine. I plan to begin my orthopaedic surgery residency this June, with aspirations to decide which subspecialty to pursue. Passionate about increasing diversity in orthopaedics, he aims to mentor underrepresented students interested in surgical careers.
