Bio

Former Division I safety at UC Berkeley (MCB major), I transitioned from the football field to the lab bench, seeing firsthand how injury and recovery shape an athlete’s career. I am now a graduate student in Stanford’s CHPR program, while also researching cellular senescence and skeletal muscle regeneration at UCSF’s MITO Lab. I aim to become an orthopedic surgeon in sports medicine, pairing my athletic background with rigorous science & open the door for others who look like me.

Edu Description

Graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) while competing as a Division I safety for Cal Football. Balancing elite athletics with a rigorous STEM curriculum shaped my discipline and time management, and sparked my interest in the intersection of sports and medicine, particularly injury recovery and musculoskeletal health, which now drives my path toward orthopedic surgery
